I have a pretty bad temper. This is not to say I’m quick tempered. Actually I’m slow to see red, but once I’m truly provoked and well enraged, then bystanders beware! I often threw temper tantrums as a kid in which nearby glassware, toys and books would end up as unfortunate casualties, but over the years I’ve learned to control myself pretty well.

One occasion I remember still was when I was ten. My brother, a couple of years younger than me, was constantly provoking me as younger brothers will do. One evening I was busy referring the Encyclopedia for a school project. He started taunting me and pulling my sleeve and my hair and being a general nuisance. He knew I was afraid of caterpillars and the last straw was when he deliberately introduced one into the collar on my dress. Screaming frantically I danced around and tore it off, shaking and extremely angry.
